I wanna guess options are a zero sum game, minus the juice your trading app claims that it doesn't charge. So the EV is less bad than the nickel slots!?
I am confused how you got "jangle" from the Cranberries. does that album contain either of the two songs for which they are famous, Zombie+Linger?
It contains Zombie. Which has tons of jangle going on. You just don't notice it because Delores's voice and stylings are so distinctive that the guitar work is hard to focus on, and if you do, you probably notice the fuzzy rhythm guitar more than the jangling lead.
Jangle can be understood as a subspecies of drone: trebly, relatively clean (undistorted) guitar sound played in (often) a chordal style: either strummed or arpeggiated (sounding each string in a chord separately) but generally repeating notes (pedal) over the top of a chord sequence. Pedals are normally open strings that also resonate overtones ... This style was strongly identified with 1960s guitar bands, especially the Byrds [and has since] characterised the sound of acts like R.E.M. and The Smiths ...[1]
It is also deployed in the context of its own music subgenre, "jangle pop",[5] which is characterized by trebly, ringing guitars

I don't know what "trebly" means but I know what the Beatles and Byrds sound like. The original Zombie is way too hard and the pretty much distorted chords held too long to be similar. And the video doesn't fit the mood at all.
It's more clear with this piano version of Zombie, which is one of my long term goals. But it's hard as hell so it will be staying in the fun folder for long time.
Yeah, the rhythm guitar in Zombie is heavily distorted, so it's not a great example, but you can hear the lead guitar playing the jangly arpegiatted chords if you concentrate.
The Beatles didn't do a lot that I would call jangle, though Hard Day's Night might qualify. The Byrds did it a lot. They used a 12-string guitar and got that resonated overtone by plucking one string while letting the other echo, I think.
My basic rule of thumb for identifying jangle pop is that the guitar sounds bright and kind of "banjo-esque" in terms of how you hear each note of a chord separately.
Mayer is a musical genius. Was attending an outdoor concert with him couple of years ago in Oslo, and it was one of the best shows ive been too. Nice summerday in June, the audience drank so much beer that day so they actually managed to run out before the concert was finished.
I'll admit I don't know too much of Mayer (my guess being he has his fingers in lots of different styles?), and I can't take any of his bluesy guitar wanking (but then again I can't take any bluesy guitar wanking, it just ain't my thing). However, from the little I've heard of his more poppy stuff, I can't hate. And he's made it onto my iPod at least twice (cover of Free Fallin' and his New Light).
Although, from what I've seen, I have a bit of a hard time with his orgasmo singing/playing face.

That Free Fallin cover from the livealbum is amazing. He also have some sick acoustic guitar intros to that song when he is out there on the live tours.
Some sundays i can sit almost the whole day watching different liveclips/concerts from him on youtube, so much gold to dig into.
I've got my right signal on to turn right into the Staples parking lot.
A lady driving a little flashy car coming the opposite direction turns left in front of me into the parking lot.
But she takes the turn a little wide and I can't quite figure out why she's doing that. Until it dawns on me that she is going to attempt to do a U-turn right in the Staples entrance right in front of me.
One small problem though. There's a car stopped at the exit patiently awaiting his turn to exit the parking lot. So this lady has no where to go as she attempts her stupid U-turn, and instead finds herself parked across the entranceway blocking all traffic, perpendicular to the car stopped at the stop sign.
Her solution to this predicament she's gotten herself into?
