I simply understand that the Sopranos, much like the Beatles, is incredibly overrated.

My goal is to have almost as much fun as Farha has $. I have been bustin my ass to get there. But I am confidant it's worth it.

People do generally rank Sopranos as 100/100. I agree with you that the proper rating is more like 99.75/100. Vastly overrated.

I think it's 120/100. So I agree given a more objective rating of 99.75/100 makes it overrated.

Yeah I think you gotta grind through it, like tbh I also struggled thru s1 but it gets so ****ing good.

I would not recommend jumping seasons but you could do that and just read the season descriptions.

Like Vikings is has tons of peaks and valleys but like s5 sucks and s6 has gotten v good again.

Serious response. This is precisely why I do compound big movements with reasonable weight in the gym and eat clean. Having that extra inch of so of muscle and low fat really helps an absolute shitload. I ski pretty fast. The other day conditions were really good for lettin my skis rip. I was doing 58.9 and hit an ice patch in the middle of a turn. I got onto my uphill ski and it chattered just enuf to release on me and I went down. I am certain if I were not as in shape as I am I would have been significantly more sore. As is I hyper extended my knee slightly and I have been "taking it ez" for the past few days as my knee has been recovering from its soreness.

In addition to that I recreate full time. I currently ski 6-7 days per week. So I have built up both endurance and strength as my season has progressed. My first few days out were pretty mellow and the soreness and creaky bones have had a chance to work themselves out. So I am not going from 0-100 like most people with jobs are forced to do when they go on vacation cuz of their limited time.

Leaning towards a full on carver unless something else catches my eye. In the past I didnt have one cuz honestly I do not spend much time on groomers. The way this season is unfolding with the lack of snow I am spending a lot of time on them, so when in Rome...

I almost mentioned them but I've only ridden the 100s and it was a couple years ago. Definitely a charger of a ski.

I'm still relatively young but as time goes on I realize more and more that this is the GTO approach. Fun > Money. Yes, sometimes fun costs money but its a means not an end.
