Is this the first carwash scene ever? It has like every carwash cliche you can think of.

Could be mistaken but believe this is the original car wash scene that all others emulate

So you think poker is your only option going forward?

Even though there are obvious depression issues (hope you're getting help for that and good luck to you, seriously), it seems pretty obvious from where I sit (as some idiot on a message board that doesn't know you at all) that poker ain't helping you in this regards (and could be a large cause of the pain).

Any thoughts of stepping out and at least trying something completely different income-wise, if only as a side job for now to see how it feels? You might feel different working in a completely different environment and perhaps even a little more fulfilled. Or not. But isn't it worth a shot?

(Regarding "running like this", I kinda go back to what Feely said and it's all about reciprocality: was anyone really making that much of a mistake in any of these hands? Are you thinking you're not on the good side of the cooler your fair share of the time / for your fair share of the money? If "this is the state of games in 2020" then I don't see why you think pursuing them is going to be terribly profitable (and at what mental expense)? But that's really all just an aside.)

Damn, didn't realize January ended today; thought I was going to get one more chance tomorrow to eek out a monthly poker profit. Stuck $338 (113bb) over 40 January hours, looks like my run good streak is officially over.

Only ~100 hours shy of 5000 hours, so I think that'll be my sun running peak. My next 5000 hours I plan to revert to the mean and run at a consistent -$21/hour, just to produce the most awesome 10K hours giraffe ever.

Heh, our first trip to Vegas as bf/gf we stayed at the Aruba Hotel and Lounge (now the Thunderbird Lounge, no hotel)(Who likes The Radiators? It was for Rad Vegas 2008?). What a pit that was! Total old school, LV Blvd, north of the Strat but south of downtown, near strip clubs and wedding chapels. (If you seen strippers on swings, you know the area)

And she still married me!

Just watched the first episode of Succession. Really enjoyed it. Glad I got a new show to watch for awhile now.

I didn't know Macaulay Culkin had a brother who acted.

Kieran looks like if Jake Gyllenhaal and Tobey Maguire had a baby.

Planning on doing both of these things

If you really want to impress, splurge on a table in the main room at Rose Rabbit Lie.

Listen to Uncle Feelie too. He knows which way is up.
Likely this as well.

Thanks, guys. Planning a lot of exploration so I don't expect to be spending significant time on their casino floor, but good to get confirmation.

Lol, like not as a troll? But seriously recommending it?

*shudders*

The most depressing thing is watching people play slots where the "jackpot" is like $43.

I have not seen Cool Hand Luke yet. I did like the style of the Cincinnati Kid which was more like a flip book of Steve McQueen rather than a story about everyone else.

I’m at the opposite end of the world and weather. Was 95 degrees here by 8am and I’ve been at the beach for 2 hours already. My boy is getting pretty good at surfing and I’ve been out the back pushing him into some really nice 2-3 footers. Gonna be close to 110 pater so may just have to be here most of the day

I'm in the exact middle of the weather spectrum. Walked for fast food at lunch and got drenched (even with an umbrella), and have literally spent the work afternoon in my boxers with my pants/socks hanging up to dry.
