1.) Squeeze is frequently used in reference to cash games. I mean, you can look it up.

2.) I have played cash games longer than you, and I have never heard of such a Golden Rule.

It's new age thinking, I'm november 9 era, I seen poker for the first time, main even peter eastgate won.

Sorry I came off the wrong way in this forum. You can use any terminology you like. You won't ever here any of the young guns say squeeze. So I won't say it.

Yeah I looked it up, in the beginner forum. I just think its played out just like the word "standard".

3betting light is not the same thing as a squeeze play.

As for this 'new school' stuff- all I can say is "wow". If there really is some arrogant new guard who thinks they can redefine poker concepts without regard for the past, then bring it on.

3betting light and squeezing are different things.

yes squeezes are used in cash games, lol wtf @ this thread?

yeah big lol @ the derailing of this thread into being about how lingo is "played out" (saying something's played out , is well , you know)

and 3betlight doesn't describe what squeeze does.

"yeah i squeezed pre and than got a 3 barrel river shove snapped off"

i would clearly know the pf action involved not only a raise , but also a call(s) in between my 3bet.

"yeah i 3betlight pre and than got a 3 barrel river shove snapped off"

You would not be able to correctly depict the preflop action.

Jesus what is considered young gun now. I've only been playing for 3 years and I say squeeze when talking about poker all the time. To say it's not profitable at cash games is flat out wrong and narrow-minded. You don't have to shove to get someone to fold preflop.
