QQ vs reraise on flop QQ vs reraise on flop

1/2
Generally been a fairly passive table although Hero has been involved in the only large pots, including just losing half stack AA vs Hero KK preflop. Possibly perceived as playing looser than I am because of large swings and may be perceived as tilting from AA KK hand.
Villain has been fairly passive last hour. He recently called raises on all three streets to player with flopped set vs his overpair. Reg at casino.

Hero (400) has QQ in early position. Raises to 12 which has been standard hero raise. Folds to button-villain (250) calls 12, blinds fold.

Flop(27) 345

Hero leads out 25, villain reraises to 75, hero ??

There would have to be a raise to 50 after hero bets 25 for villain's 75 to be a reraise.

All grammar nittery aside, passive players usually don't bluff raise. Passive players usually don't raise draws. That AA/KK hand probably has little influence on villain's thinking.

Passive players typically don't raise one-pair hands unless it's an overpair, so you have to consider how many pairs he is raising between JJ and 66.

Passive players at 1/2 are probably not going to make this move, but I frequently make this raise with a pair +str8 draw, like 46 and playing on barreling most turns and rivers.

If he is a complete idiot he could be spazzing with a set because he see's 3 connected cards and doesn't understand your range here. Bad players at 1/2 often overbet made hands on scary boards because they are fearful of getting chased down.

However i think it is more likely this player has an overpair smaller then yours 66-jj and doesn't want to see any big cards come. If I was you I would c/c flop and see what comes on the turn
