Hero is at 200. He lost 80 to maniac an hour before with AK losing to 56 off. Maniac villain is a 50 yo BG who's shoving every other hand. The table is tilted. It's basically "who will call him next." Hero was card dead for an hour 10/5, 10/3, J3 etc. Maniac has $56 now. Hero is on button with QJ
Maniac raises to $56 UTG.
QJ is the best Hero has seen. Is this a call? A Shove?

Would be nice to see a flop, and QJ is good enough for that against this Villain IMO.

QJs is about 60-40 against any two cards, that's good enough for me.

KTo is about the same fwiw.

Yeah that would be a good reason as to why I should have shoved rather than called, improved table image, no doubt

Every other hand I'm assuming he's shoving top 50%. QJ is a flip and you have the blinds to worry about. I don't see how calling makes any money here.

If the blinds are uber nits then you could instacall (which in itself looks super strong) and fold if they raise. If they aren't uber nits then I'd just shove. I think folding is fine too though.

He ended up having K9 of diamonds. The BB called because of "pot odds" with 10/4 offsuit. He hit a 4 on the river and I folded. The original had a tirade over the guy calling with 10/4 but he scooped. Stranger than fiction lol.

I think Ace high really helps when callling the crazy all ins or a pair
