5/10 at Commerce. Fairly passive table with a couple good players (none involved in this hand. 2 hours at the table. I have been tight and only shown down winners. I'm bb with $1230. UTG ($900), mp ($390) and sb (?) limp. I check with 6h 8d.
Flop: 10h 8h 6d ($40)
I lead for $40 Utg calls mp calls sb folds.
Turn: 3c ($160)
I lead for $160 utg calls mp calls.
River: 7h ($640)
I check, utg checks quickly, mp hems and haws for 10-15 seconds then says "well, I guess I'm all in" and puts in $180 more. WTF?
Flame on if you must but I don't beat anything. Alas, it is Commerce.....
Yeah, I guess it seemed like mp pushed as a last ditch effort more than feigning weakness to get a call. Was borderline and I was worried at the time about utg. In retrospect utg wouldn't have checked a flush or prolly even a straight.
I screwed up the river (was posting from my phone leaving Commerce). It was actually the 9h. Doesn't change a whole lot but I can't help but feel like I should have put the pieces together for a call. The chick who pushed was horrible.
