1/2 NL

10 hours into session. Hero has an active image however table is overall very loose passive. No 3 betting pre overall its more bingo than poker. Hero has had an up and down session (up 300 down 300 up 300 down 300). Stacks are relatively deep.

utg (fish) limps 2

MP limps 2

BTN limps 2

sb completes 2

Hero BB- KQ makes it 20$ 350$ effective

utg calls 20

mp folds

btn calls 20

sb folds

3 ways to the flop

pot= 64

Flop J62

Hero- c bets 35$

utg calls 35$- this player limp calls way to wide. Has terrible post flop play and to be honest his lines are so wacky that it can confuse you. Has been a little sticky towards me.

btn folds

heads up

Pot= 134$

Turn 3

my plan here was to do have a very polarized bet on and heart turn and jam blank rivers really put his Jx to the test and getting folds from his weaker pairs. He is limp calling close to 50% of hands.

Hero- bets 120$

utg villain calls 120$

river K

Hero- ???? I have roughly 180$ behind

I like the bump up pre, but I think the flop cbet won't get through often enough out of position in a loose passive field to be worth it so I'd check this flop.

Turn, what reason would Jx have to fold? V is "sticky against me" and no scare card came. A 3 flush is hardly scary for him given the action. If anything that hits his range more than yours.

River, in principle I think x/calling river against loose passives is awful when they can level themselves into calling with worse and you can't fold with the pot this big. I would've had this pot much smaller and been able to bet/fold the river but now you're in a awkward stack size. Stick it all in and be happy you rivered against AJ.
