POCKET ACES out of position 3-ways POCKET ACES out of position 3-ways

Game is $2-$100 spread-limit WHICH WILL MATTER.

Hero has the effective stack of $500. Solid image (I’ve basically shown down two hands in big pots, a set and an overpair). 35yo white guy.

V1 is a young white guy with a $400 stack. Competent (he rarely limps), and aggressive (an earlier hand revealed he 3-bet my UTG raise with 97s). Actually that whole history might be relevant:

I Raise 9h8h UTG. 2 calls. V1 3-bets to 30. I call other two call, 4-ways to flop. Th9s3d. All check. Turn Td. I bet 100. Xx 3-better calls. River Tx. I bet 100 he calls, he has 97, we chop

As you can see, perhaps, wild pre, but pretty ABC post. He hasn’t shown any big bluffs.

V2 is a middle aged Asian man. Extremely extremely tight. I almost forgot he was in the game. Stack of $200.

HAND: V1 UTG raises to $8. V2 in UTG calls. Everyone folds to me with AsAc in the BB, I 4-bet to $36. They both call.

Flop: Qs8s5h (Pot: $108)

I check, V1 checks, V2 checks.

(I’m checking for pot control here, but only doing it because I have the As. I would bet without it. This isn’t a good board or situation to get three streets of value with a one-pair hand.)

Turn: Qs8s5h 9d (Pot: $108)

I bet $50. V1 calls. V2 folds.

(Now I just want to deny equity against random hands they may show up with.)

River: Qs8s5h 9d 6h (Pot: $208)

I bet $100. V1 raises to $200. I fold.

(I choose the large sizing to get value from his top pair hands, and also to hopefully make it so he CANT bluff the River—I’m making the pot so big that I’ll look priced in to call if he raises to $200, so—ideally—he can only do it with a value hand.)

How’s my play?
