1/2 NLHE
Full table with about 6 nits who limp and fold to pf raises, hit f or fold
Stacks 60-200
V is LAG fish in MP1 with stack 150
H is TAG in MP3 with stack of 120

PF: 4 limpers to H, including V
H limps with 4d6d
2 limpers thereafter
Flop: 2k,4h,6s
limps to V who raises to 17 (usual raise is 6-12)
H puts V's range as 1010-22, AKs-A2s, AK-A2o, KQo-K10, QJo-Q8o, etc including 76o-32o, 86o-24o.
Hero's action ?

After a few comments H will post his action and turn action for comment.

I would appreciate your input. Thanks.

So the LAG fish does not raise small-mid pp's or Ace-x preflop?

Edit: wait what? Is he raising preflop or he is betting 17 on flop

I think your range on him is far too wide for V, you've basically included every playable hand possible. 22-77 would limp preflop so set combos are possible, 35s is possible and A3,A5, and A6s combos, other 2 pair combos seem unlikely, limping 24o or 24s is even wide for 1/2.

To me, this looks a lot like A6 trying to end the hand now as the board isn't really draw heavy. Guess a set would play it the same way too, but the bet size is strange and leads me to believe he most likely wants to take it down now.

I like calling here, and seeing if we can get some other people coming along - with intentions of prolly c/r a blank turn , or betting when he slows down if an overcard comes.

fold preflop. You are playing short stacked, and this is a really poor hand to play with 60 bbs.

as played, raise to 50. Shove any turn. You are never folding at this point.

Depending on how loose/fishy your opponents are, you could make a case for just shoving the flop. You only have 60 bbs and you'll probably get called by worse a lot.

Agreed range too wider. V would have raised
Pf with AA-99, etc. I put him on 1010-22, A6, A4, A3, A2s+o and K6,K4, Q6, Q4

Q for me was to 1) call and hope Formosa more
Than 1 caller or2) raise or shove. Decided to raise
To 35. Folded to V who called.

Turn 6.
V bets 50
H?

I like flatting here, since we have the almighty nuts. He is probably so far behind that we want to give him an opportunity to hit his draws or bluff on the river. If he has a good hand that we get value from, the money is getting in on the river anyways, so by flatting we get money from his bluffs and draws as well.

Fold pre this short. As played his pot size bet is strong so I might just shove the flop....either that or raise to $52 and shove any turn. Shoving flop seems fun though.

Learn to either fold or raise 62s pf every time. Fold unless you know why you are raising pf and don't need to post a HH about it.

Not really sure what "2k" is? Assuming it is a "club," you are wasting time to see another card. Raise and get stacks in.
