1/2 $200 max, Sunday evening.

V1-Just sat down on my direct left w over sized chips from chopping the evening $40 rebuy tourney 5 ways for like $450. Won a few hands w out showing down ~$270

V2- 55+ fat guy, $400 not the tighest old man but he isnt trying to make hero calls, folds when doesnt have it, bets when he does.

H- 24, drinking a beer. i've been at the table ~ 4 hour fairly solid imagine. Stacked a dude boat > trips. was at ~$475 However just slid down to about $285 after losing large pot to V2 value betting 1/3 pot otr w 10.8 vs A8 on 8.10.5-A.5 runout. V called my flop bet & led large ott, felt like he hit the ace and still couldnt check it back otr.

Hand- H-SB, V1-BB,V2-HJ

Random opens for 10, 4 calls. Hero-J10

Flop-KQ6

Action-H-Check, V1-Check, V2-Bets 16 into ~$40. H-Call,V1-Call.

Unsure of what either guy has here, obv doubt they have AA,KK as both would prob re-raise pre. Would both prob raise KQ here since its somewhat wet board, not sure tho.

Turn is a K; checks thru. I know V2 would bet a big hand like KQ, AK here.

River is the sexy 9

Pot-~$80

Hero thinks for about 10 seconds sudblty trying to look as tho contemplating bluffing a missed fd, half heardtldy checks praying one of these fux will take a stab or hopefully V1 has a K or V2 will bet a missed fd.

V1-Bets 26, V2-Calls somewhat quickly.

My thoughts- Okay maybe now V2 has the K? What is V1 betting this small with? Maybe he has the missed fd.

Pot-~$130, $26 for me to call. I have $250 back.

I decide that my hand is too strong to not raise here, I go for the gusto and sternly announce raise, and slide $126 out there. Trying to make it look like a squeeze play. V1-Thinks for what feels like 15-20 ish seconds and then ships it for for another $120. V2-Fairly quickly announces fold and then proceeds to flip over J10 saying he missed the nut draw, idk if he forgot I was in the hand or didnt care lol it was weird, but I shockingly made sure the dealer knew he said fold.

Thoughts-Wow I didnt even think about him having J10, could V1 have the same hand?? Would he raise like this w K10, KJ? Doubt he has 99.

Pot is $40 after the flop + another $48 ott+ $52+ my $126+ V1s-$126 plus his other $120 pot is $~500.

Given that it is a short 1/2 game its pretty much a snap call right? What if this was 2/5, and it was 100 bb to call to win ~200bbs? How often are we getting raised by Kx after this action, how often do we have the best hand here?

Sorry prob a terrible post, but I have to start discussing my hands. I have zero poker friends and I cant do this on my own!

It feels like V1 has a boat, KQ would be the most obvious. If he has KQ/66, I think he took a bad line. On such a draw heavy board, betting turn for value is a must. Though less likely, it is possible for him to have 99 as well, c-betting flop, shutting down after being called in 2 spots, then hitting gin on the river.

I suppose there's always the possibility of a total spazz shove from V1, but river bluff jams are pretty rare in LLSNL. 3! river bluff-shoves are even rarer, and something you almost never see in these types of games.

The fact that V2 folded 10-J face up decreases the chance that you're chopping with V1 and makes his hand even more weighted towards a boat (KITN to V2 BTW), but it really doesn't change my decision here. We have the straight, we've put in about half of our stack, and we're getting about 4 to 1 on a call.

I think all the information is telling us V1 has a boat, but in game I know there's no way I could lay this down. I sigh call and expect to be shown KQ/99/66, say nice hand, and reload. I definitely am NOT showing my hand if I'm beat. That usually goes without saying, but some may have the urge to show after V2 folded the same hand face up.

Lead for 45 on the river.

As played, i don't like making herofolds in 1/2 games, but with another JT openfolded this might be a hand to do so. Probably still close tho.

There is one added incentive to call though. If we do call and win, V2 might go on monkey tilt. I probably would .

I thought the same things. Makes the same hand less likely and put V2 on tilt.

As played I am calling.

I raise the flop to 65. The weak donk seems like a silent cry for help and we should oblige.

b/3b on the river is a big hand pretty much always IMO. That said, someone might think trip K's is a big hand, having missed the straight draw and figuring he was safe from the obvious flush.

Getting 4:1 on a call, I pay V off.
