Calling this river after checking back the turn against an aggressive opponent is standard imo. However, betting the turn is better.
**Not betting turn for value 'because we don't want to get raised' is a classic leak IMO**.
The way to handle the turn is to think through villain's range/tendencies, and then to either bet/fold or bet/call. There are times to check-back the turn against aggressive opponents, but it's on dry, WA/WB situations, because then we are not risking much with a free card and their river bluffing range >> their turn calling range. Here wasn't such a spot.

? Are you snapping all of them? Folding all of them? Do you see how it's so easy for you to make a mistake on the river with your line? You got somewhat lucky that a complete blank came and he made a somewhat obvious bluff that polarized his range. Quite a few river cards could cause you to make a mistake here...
