Rules like this are horrible.

If his 5bet/ship range has us crushed and well below 30% equity, then folding after putting in 33% of your stack is completely fine.

If putting in 33% of your stack maximizes our fold equity dramatically over putting in 25% of our stack, then it very well could be best.

I personally think we have nearly as much FE raising to 165-175 as 205, so I don't like 205, but that's not because some silly rule.

I would lead some flops but I felt like leading or check raising this flop would look FOS. How many people would lead or check raise with a Q? A good player could easily raise a flop lead or shove over a flop check raise. That's why I didnt do it.

Wat??? I lead or x/r a Q in this type of spot quite often. Usually they just give me credit when I x/r, but sometimes they spaz out and ship some hand like 99 or AJ. A good player knows that other good players will lead or x/r a flop like this for both value and as a bluff.

Now we are going back to the same argument as leading the turn with a made flush. Most people hate it. I only like it because its not that big of a flush and in a 3 bet pot, villain can have the Ac or Kc pretty often and I dont want him checking behind.

I like leading this flop with a Q almost never heads up. 3-4 ways is a different story.

I guess it is the same thing...

IMO, if you are consistently worried that they're not going to call you, you are probably not playing aggressive/betting enough. Once you start seeing people call two streets on this board with AJo, you can slow your roll a bit. The trick is being very in tune with your image and who at the table might care. If my image is "too good", then yeah, I'm not going for max value with x/r or leading or what not. If I think I appear to be folding a ton, I might play more passive. But if I'm just constantly betting and often losing/mucking, then it's time to play Qx super aggressive on this board.
