Just to address this further:

I had felt like most of the regs in this thread had become comfortable with my action. If there are some who had not or there are newer regs who don't know me:

1. AngerPush is correct in that I bet relatively rarely. I'd say closer to 15 bets per year than 3 though (but they are often clustered around a time period).

2. I've done this for the last 3 or 4 years.

3. Every time I have lost, I have paid immediately.

4. As stated above, I generally bet a few times a year. This is usually big events (Super Bowl or NFL playoffs, NBA Finals, World Series, the last two Mayweather boxing matches). When betting on these, I am often (but not always) looking to risk at least a few thousand in total (sometimes on a lot of different bets and sometimes all on just one or two).

5. The events I am most likely to bet that are not big events are regular weekly NFL games, particularly games that I plan to watch.

6. I am willing to escrow bets to respected regulars of the thread if necessary.

7. I am never going to be a daily or even weekly or whatever bettor in this thread. I actually was for a very little while on NBA games one year (I think after I bet the Super Bowl here) and I just didn't like it. I was at work or had to do stuff at home and just couldn't watch the games I bet on, and I had to do work to keep track of all of the numbers. It's just not me. I mostly want to bet on big events or something that I'm going to be watching. That is just what I prefer.


If anyone does not want my action, that is fine. I used to require that people confirm my action when I booked bets because when I first posted in this thread, people objected. I stopped posting that requirement because I had thought that was over, but maybe not.


If more is needed for you to take my action, let me know.
