Tell me where in this world you can find a pool with bunch of players winning 8bb/hr and another "elite" pool of players winning even more.
A fair amount of casinos you step in, always at least one dude capable of it. If it is capable by one, it is capable by many. It goes back to what I said, more time equates to more strategy against thinking opponents. If you seem to think everyone just strives to be a top 10-15% player, you got another thing coming. Some are simply fine with beating the stakes they play, others need to crush. Open your mind, quit trying to hate on me and focus on yourself.

conversational and every day Chinese is pretty simple, but after that it gets difficult to pick up.

also I often say things incorrectly but people know what I mean anyways so a lot of negative reinforcement in that sense.

i have like severe anger management issues though. I don't really get into fights because I don't put myself in situations where such a thing might happen but if somebody gets in my face who doesn't have the "authority" to do so then I get like ****ing rabid gorilla rage.

You realize that like you have to become BETTER than that person to obtain his winrate right?

Poker is not a win win situation, it is a zero sum game.

Oh I get it...I think I figured out yet another one of your barely-explained-but-can-you-guess-my-thought-because-I-can't-elaborate-my-own post.

Basically there aren't that many players in the "par" pool, but it's just a standard you set for yourself that being elite in other people's standard is simply par in yours.

I think dhcg, 1ns71nct, and Pokah should get together and have coffee.

The conversation would be rather simple but very very deep in their own minds.

I can't see any of them drinking coffee, to be honest.

Some have no standards, some have low, some have high.

I drink black coffee, a majority of the time tea.

Btw DrTJO, thanks for breaking down that book a bit more.

I was under my own assumption that A-B-C were determined base on fatigue, and once you hit B, you can't get back to A.

I'll put that book back on my list of books to read.

So, you would drink coffee if they did? Interesting.

Anyone read any fantastic threads in LLsNL that they would like to share? I have one, I will get around to it in a few.

Really depends of the offerings of coffee vs tea.

Yeah, it was good re-reading it. In short, you only need to work on C and A, don't worry about the B. Glad someone read my post---that was a brain-drain.

You really need to get out of the environment that literally stops you from thinking.
