You guys on VC, can you log into the VC poker store? I tried and it says account not found

You just have to keep skin hopping. It sucks, VC are pricks, but it's not as if your money's in danger if you're with a decent skin. That said, winning players deterred by this certainly won't be missed.

i guess it because of what kind of a deal ur affiliate has with VC, that was the case with me, i could never use the shop, while others with different deals could use it

Another player who VC Poker ****ed over, I try to join any single table and it says "Please contact customer support". The guy on manager chat told me to contact my affiliate, who I can't get a hold on since it's weekend. Wtf is going on? Please answer asap I'm getting really frustrated since I just wanna play on the weekend games..

Basically I think they're either kicking me out because I'm a winning player or my accoutn has been locked because I took 4k off some huge fish a few days ago and they're accusing me of chipdumping. Either way this is redicilous bull**** and if my account is banned I'm going to make sure VC Poker is going to lose as many customers as possible (I have friends who play there, can advertise on different poker sites not to play on VC). ****ing scums

I can't use the shop either. Is all this stuff about VC kicking off winning players legit? They give you your funds back though right?

The problem with ipoker, as you might now, is that there is a win-loss ratio that has to be balanced. If any site fail to have the correct ratio, they will be forced to pay a large fee and that's why some of the most successful players have been blocked."

= VC has alot of good reps who ruins fish from other skins, and because of this VC has to pay money to ipoker..
Solution = lock accounts..and get more rakebackgrinders instead...I guess this will be a problem for most Ipoker sites thats offering supergood deals.

I have a friend who got blocked a couple of month ago because he was winning to much so yes it happens.

Honestly why the **** do regulars sit out when the table fish sits out. Is the plan along these lines:

1) Fish sits out, everyone else sits out.
2) Fish returns to find everyone else sat out.
3) Fish leaves table since there isn't a game running.
4) ????
5) Profit?

It would tilt me less being at a live game and having one of the regulars suddenly attack the fish with a cattle prod. If you're going to do your best to drive away fish, at least make it entertaining.

money is safe with vc, not everyone seems to get kicked out, some people seem to get the option to not play more that month and can continue playing next month

I'm still going fine on VC, at the time they started booting people I was -8K on the site, so obv I was fine then. Now I'm > +20K, but all still seems well atm. My winrate probably isn't anything to write home about, so I guess I'm down the list a bit of ppl who might get booted.

I havent played poker for a while, but I am starting again at Expekt poker. I would be gratefull if somebody gives me info about 2/4 to 5/10 games at ipoker.
Do games on ipoker tend to be more or less fishy these days (I played on betfriends 8 months ago and was very satisfied). Who are the biggest winners (when I was plaing I remember Kruiseherrengang, Juventus, Ch0c0lateman and GluteusMinimus were especially good?

He's always been a spewtard when I've played him. He was tough to deal with at first but once I got a handle on how he played he was v spewy.

Not the hugest sample ever but from career peak to career valley it's 55 buyins even at the biggest stakes he was playing. To be fair a lot of the losses were at HU.

Wow, wat? I don't understand this at all. What could possibly be the reason for iPoker doing this?

Does it hurt their marketing efforts if all the recreational players get destroyed and tell all their friends that online poker is too difficult/rigged?

Is it something to do with transfers to real world banks? (Assuming that when I win a hand at VC vs a player on another skin, those funds have to be sent to some physical bank account that VC owns)

Is it some sort of back-handed security measure by iPoker to keep skins from teaming a bunch of staff-accounts?

iPoker makes its profits from losing players. If losing players are attracted to the network, winning players follow and the games flourish. On the other hand, skins make their profit from winning players, because they play more hands than losing players and therefore generate more in rake for the skin. So a lot of skins were concentrating on attracting winning players (often stealing them from other skins) via providing good rakeback deals, rather than attracting new losing players to the network via marketing, etc. The fines iPoker are imposing are an attempt to correct the misaligned incentives, a pretty good attempt iyam. Rakeback deal wars between skins are also bad news for iPoker in that having to provide astronomical rakeback percentages makes owning a skin less valuable and therefore limits what iPoker can sell one for.

I don't get this. Are you saying this is not ethically OK? It's publicly available information.
