hi

I enjoyed some 6 max today, thought id give it a whirl and i run goot, especially against clarkatroid.

Its so hard to 16 table for hours though, thats pretty obvious really. Ill wait til ive finished racing to go back.

I think the games are defo tougher now though, lot more aggressive regs with a lot more 3 and 4 betting.

4 or 5 months ago as far as i could tell hardly anyone was getting it in with less than AK, now its all spewy. Really fun though.

This hand is seriously epic:

Cuz I run better than anyone at 2/4.

Anyone else find 3/6 way harder or does the way I play just suck since there are more (aggro) regs there ;p?
I never liked 3/6 as a level in general. Never did as well there as either 2/4 or 5/10. Generally found it really aggro in a way I failed to adjust to. Could just be a game selection issue though.

yeah i donked a couple buy ins to you, especially the 84cc all in pre flop.

ive been experimenting with a lag style at 2/4 for the last couple weeks, i think ive averaged 33/26 with mixed results, im either 3k up or 3k down per day. **** u get some action though

not sure im capable of pulling it off though but to be honest i would pull my teeth out than end up playing like sunnysihota or barelylegal, 13/10 or watever they play. boring as ****

My first post here.. But have been playing some at ipoker for the last week or two, mostly 2/4 and 3/6 and its so annoying with all this ****** NITS. I found out that about 60% of the ppl play 18/15 ish and 20% is shortstack donks and its hard to find a good game where the nits dont sit.

Maybe im a bit on tilt since i dont run so good and get spewy when they raise and its almost sets etc etc..

Yeah thats gotta be a mega high variance style, i always thought you were a bit of a spewtard anyway Id love to be able to play 33/26ish forever, would be pretty fun.

Whats with the dog btw?? Is that your thing? I lol'd at the interviewer as well.

the dog is a spoodle, spaniel poodle cross, cost 900 quid!

and yeah i spew when playing 22/16 so its ony gonna get worse. last 3 days at 2/4 up 3k ,down 3k, and up 4k today.

choppy ride but i wanna the cool kid who could flip over anything

How do you think they are adjusting to you Clark?
I tried playing much more laggy for a while but the nits never ever play back at you. And most of them don't tilt it seems. Robots. :/
And since ipoker is filled with nits and shorties it's not that rewarding really.

Hope you avoid the brain damage most of us eventually get from the swings.

I think you just need to game select a bit.. Finding good 2/4 tables has always been relatively easy for me. Now good 3/6 tables.. Those are rare.

To be fair im having a good month, so i figure nows the time to try these things but im mindful of something leatherass said on a pokerroad interview "the money always comes to the tags in the end" . I have attempted it once before but was nowhere near good enough to pull it off and this is probably the case now, but theres a few players win big at this,20 buckspin and dr_giggy on ftp, punketty on stars (although he is more passive pre) all come to mind.

i think the heavy multi tablers are not reacting at all, hence why i donked a couple buy ins to goat boy yesterday, ie, i thought they where reacting and there where not, so i got it in superlight when their ranges never moved, so im not going to play back at these chaps, but some go absolutely totally ballistic.

I dont think i can stomach it though, you need tons more brainpower per session, and its real swingy, but im going to persist for the rest of august and hopefully some metagame factors may pay off in the near future. i've been called a donk/over aggro donk about 3 times a day in last 2 weeks (its normally only once a day), appletart has berated me tons

ipoker 5/10 is not soft. more regs fighting over fewer fish. its a myth that the american sites are tougher and the euro ones are hard imo. A fish joins a 5/10 table on ipoker and the waiting list shoots to 14 in 5 mins

my main observation though is how many ****ing shortstacking parasites there are now at all levels, the sites need to sort this out, its crucifying the games. 2/4 is infested with the wankers

Well I play 16 tables, but i play around 22/19/6 on average, well for the last few months on 6 max. Think you just caught the top end of my range when you made some of your moves at first, then after that you was just playing pretty straight forward against me so there was nothing to adjust to? I like to think I adjust to the aggro 3 betters and get it in light ofen enough. Im aggro enough anyways i think.

I dunno i 3 bet a lot when i start then i get tired and kind of tone it down, your right about the brain power needed.
