drinking fruity drinks is only ok if you are on vacation some place tropical and they are making the **** with fresh fruit. otherwise you probably have caught teh ghey, which is fine and all, but don't be surprised when people start labeling you as such.

as for ricky's question, I would say his assessment is pretty spot on. Chicks who are drinking **** to try and be like the whores on sex and the city are most likely full of self-entitlement and probably bitches. That being said you can always have a conversation with said girl and see if this is the case, but if you are trying to decide between a couple of girls from afar you can probably safely make this assumption. If two girls are equally attractive you are much better off going with the one that is drinking jack and cokes or beers as they are likely to be a cooler person. at least imo.

Hey, how do you guys deal with downswings? Since July I have been in a big downswing, and I am already down $21k in EV. Besides getting coolered left and right, KK vs AA all the time and when I got AA it got cracked by KK. Any serious advice would be apprectiated. Thanks guys.

sorry to hear that Novel. People seem to disagree with me on this, but looking at the ev line really helps me. Yes, it's not perfect, but it DEFINITELY reduces some of the noise involved with winnings swings. So as long as the EV line keeps going up, I'm satisfied that I'm probably playing well, and that's really all you can do. The only other suggestion I have is not to press because you're down - just pretend you're starting each session from scratch.

dfly i also sense that you like the ev line because when you lose you can look at the ev line and know you should have won or lost less and then you're happy or feel better and when you win, **** it if you got a little lucky you won and are happy.

if it makes you feel any better, i just played the longest session of my life, because i couldn't seem to win. i was so stressed out... ended up playing 12k hands over 10.5 hours... coming back from -4.5k twice to book a 1k win... so although i had like a ton of money at all my tables, i did not rape the games tonight...
