Need help with a V's style(2/5) Need help with a V's style(2/5)

Not sure if this is the right place, it's not one specific hand, it's a player style/type that has been giving me trouble. I don't know if it's a tilt type thing or just hard to put them on a hand.
Here are some example's of some hands(2/5) from a long session with this particular V, I've had problems with other Vs that play same style.
Hard for me to describe V because he doesn't fit a profile.
V seat changed and moved directly to my left. After hand 1 I moved to V's left.
V is late 20's White guy, knowledgeable, grinder type, opens very wide when in position, almost always raises in position with limpers, aggressive, floats....
H late 30's Hisp. usually an ABC, TAGish type player, will mix in a little LAG, will get sticky if I think you're FOS.
Hand 1
VX(XX)MP limps
H(1700)HJ, opens to $20 w/ KQ
V(700) Bu calls $20
VX calls
Flop ($62) Q,3,5
VX checks, I make it $45, v calls VX folds
Turn ($152) 7
H bets $90, V calls Didn't like the call on the flop or OTT
Flop ($332)10
H checks, V bets $135 damn it...I call ,V 46 Ok
I later move seats to V's left.
He had been raise just about all this HJ, CO and BU hands to $20-25
Hand 2
VX limps
V($1k)BU raises $25
H($1.4k)BB 3 bets to $75 w/ QQ
V calls,VX folds
Flop($155) 10,52
H bets $90 , V calls
Turn($335)7
H bets $160, V calls
Flop($655)A
H checks, V checks
V scoops with 10,7
Hand 3
Almost exact same scenario with a 3! by H
V calls value owns me and shows up with two small pair.
This is not a bad beat thread...
I'm obviously having problems with this style play...
Am I over valuing my 1 pair hands? Is there something different I should be doing against this type V? I've had this same problem with a different V with same style.
Anyway, any help with this would be much appreciated.

Given hand 1, V is not a grinder type, he's a fish

Is this something you just chalk up to variance, bad day for H,luck for V move on and keep playing the same?

Pretty much.

You could open larger / three bet larger preflop with your value hands too. In the long run, this will punish villain for calling as wide as 46 off suit.

It's the results that are giving you an issue not the player so much. Both V lines are super fishy, lost value, more or less face up. You seem to have lost the minimum (could have folded QK) which means they won the min and were in bad shape both times

My guess is that he folds the turn if he doesn't improve. Seems pretty straight forward on how to play him. Don't pay him off on the river.

I think the label you're looking for is "lagtard."
If he's raising so much IP, I would sit on his right and limp/evaluate most of the hands I want to play. Post-flop you can consider check/evaluate too if it's multiway and his betting frequency is high, but if he's more passive or it's HU you can widen your value betting range and double barrel bluff more often. If he's floating too much (I'm guessing) get value on the flop and push him off of his weak turn range.

My tip, bring some rubber bands next time you play against him. V is a fish that got lucky two hands. Don't sweat it and keep doing what you are doing, and eventually you will leave with so much of his money, it won't all fit in your wallet.

If he is calling 3bets with T7s type hands that he is pretty terrible.
3bet him a little bit wider than normal, value bet all strong hands against him for a healthy portion of the pot.

He will start missing as you play more hands. This was just some short term luck by him.

H1: Raise more pre-flop. Bet bigger OTF (a lot closer to PSB ~60).
H2: Same as H1.

He might still call (which is a good thing), but overtime you'll win a lot more then loose.
