In this particular case when we are the only ones who are straddling the button are we doing it to cultivate an image or some other technical reason? I understand that it's hardly ever a mistake but I'm just trying to figure out if we gain anything by it. That's why I found both points interesting (the position of the fish in regards to us thing and the whether or not everyone will limp back to us or not deal.) I also believe that people will lrr more against button straddles as I've seen it happen quite a few times most recently. I was wondering if that was a coincidence but apparently it's not.
