Saw a dude doing shrugs in the squat rack....normally this would anger me, but he was doing 4 plates. Hard to get angry when he shrugs more than I deadlift.

Went for a 36 min run plus some pull-ups

Not too bad for 1st run in a long time

Knee held up

Back hated me. Need to find a way to loosen it up. Also losing weight will probably help it a lot too.

Chicken and egg I guess

On a roll.

5 straight days where I kept calories sub 1900 and managed to get some form of exercise in each day. Should be booking a calorie deficit daily of 800-1000 calories.

Scales say I gained 3 pounds in that time.

When was the last time you pooped?

On the subject of backs: I highly suggest using a foam roller and lacrosse ball

Definitely on board for the roller

I use it almost every day, usually 2-3 times per day.

If you like it hard and deep, get a lacrosse ball as well

I think the a lot of people can unknowingly make their backs worse by incorrectly foam rolling them.
