It's not interesting, really. Been building for a while. I get grouchy when I run bad. One bad beat or w/e, no problem. But when they start stacking up...I get grouchy. And it's sort of cumulative. If I leave grouchy Monday, I'm on a hair trigger Tuesday and the littlest thing sets me off, even something like an action killing card rather than an actual beat.

Well, I have been running bad for the entire year now, more or less. They just got tired of it. The night they temp-banned me I actually thought I had been pretty well-behaved, by my standards.

Been a thorn in their side for quite a while now. Despite my moods, I'm pretty popular with the staff there, and, as a consequence, they cut me way more slack than they would cut a tourist. If I were a succession of obnoxious tourists, they would have banned me probably 20 times this year alone.

So, meh. Most boring story about being banned ever.

not sure...have a box I need to close out there so I have to go back at some point... also have close to a g-note worth of V comps that I need to burn through before they expire. We have been kicking around the idea of being in town for the collossus and the milly since the action will be so good then but have not made any plans as of yet

Your two questions I didn't cover:

-My reaction was mellow. IDGAF, really; it's not like it's the only poker room in town, plus, I knew it was justified. It was actually a funny scene. Floor lady asks me to have a seat with her, I sit. She says, "You know we all like you, but I'm going to ask you to play somewhere else for a while." I go "ok" and stand up, she motions me back down, I sit. She says, "it's been building for a while you know." I go, "yes, I know," and go to stand up, she motions me to wait and goes to explain some more. Rinse and repeat, I tried to leave 4 or 5 times, but she had a speech she wanted to give, so I stayed and listened.

-I went to Roberto's for tacos.

This is actually the funny part; they didn't pick me up mid-session or anything. They let me play out my session and she had her chat with me after I cashed out. My complaining really had been pretty mild that night. It was just the last straw.

Been playing at the Venetian, where I immediately started winning. Snapped what had been the worst streak of my live career--8 losses in a row.

MGM rigged, obv.

I'll actually at least show my face there before June 9; wife and I are planning a night out at an MGM restaurant for early next week, so I'll at least go to the room to pick up the comp to pay for the dinner.

But I don't think they'd let me play that soon. She literally said "we're going to ask you to play somewhere else for a while" without being any more specific. So I have no idea what they have in mind, but I gotta believe they're thinking six months or a year. But, honestly, if it weren't for the fact that it's convenient and there's a cocktail waitress there I like to look at, I'd have no reason at all to go back. So, w/e.

Oh, yeah. By grouchy I don't mean I sit there and sulk. Grouchy is being vocal about ****. I troll the dealers, I troll the players that suck out on me, I troll the floor staff, and on really bad days I drop eff bombs at a rate the USAF would envy...the same old stuff I have been posting about on and off since I got here. I do try to modulate it; keep the smack talk right below the level that will get me tossed--that worked for years, and they just got fed up. Shrug.

I thought PP's undertitle actually read:

I got told by a floor guy at casino A that I was free to go to casino B if I didn't like the ruling a few weeks ago. So I did. I'll go back at some point I guess.

Why, are you a cranky OMC also? This sort of behavior is unacceptable especially by someone that is trying to make a living at this. The other players are your customers and you should be going out of your way to ensure that they are having a good time at the tables. Whining about suckouts and berating players is not the way to do that.

Aside from that, this is just terrible for your mental game. You should be able to brush these suck outs off. If you can't, then you must be miserable while playing and that's no way to live life. I know far too many grinders in their 40s/50s that have been playing full time since who knows when and they all look absolutely miserable at the table. If you don't have happiness in life, then what do you have really? If you're playing 40hrs a week and aren't happy at the table I'd hope that you would take a step back and consider other career options because happiness does exist but it's probably not in poker.
