I'll have a car so transportation no problem.

I usually stay on the strip but a small apartment would be a nice alternative.

I know you can do Craigslist but I'd rather deal with someone who has a reference I'd trust.

What if we rented one big place for the entire excursion? Everyone could take turns cooking for the entire cult on each night? And then we could set up webcams and fund it by selling subscriptions.

I will probably still have an extra bedroom & will certainly still have a very very large, very comfortable sectional couch available.

Only problems are at that point I will have a 2 year old + an 8 month pregnant wife, but if you don't mind being quiet & don't mind the risk of being woken up by a crazy child...

This sounds like an unmitigated disaster but a simple VRBO search reveals multiple weekly rentals around Vegas in the $1,500/week range. Most have pools.

This would of course necessitate 1 and likely multiple car rentals.
