Say the stacks were 100 or 150bb deep, does that change it to a call for any of you if you do fold? Or what about if mega fish post flop limp in front, do you limp just to be 8n the pot with them deep?
At a loose passive table it can't hurt too much to limp along with middling hands when in position. You have to be a bit clever at navigating boards and realising when your top pair ten kicker is no good but a button limp here is probably +EV.
However, why not raise? It has many benefits. Gives you initiative to go with your position, uncaps your range so its tougher to put you on exactly what you have, will usually allow you to take a free turn card if you want one and makes the pot bigger for when you hit the flop hard.
