playing 10-20-40 straddle game

button in this hand seems like a live pro, very taggish.
c/o in this hand is a big mark he is very loose passive. If you can beat his top pait type of hand you can take him for a lot of money.

my image should be taggish, I have taking a few pots down with cbets with out showdown.
I played 1 hand where it was 5 way limped pot
flop was 872 dd i led $150 into the field, and got called by nitty utg , and loose internet player utg+1
turn was qx i checked utg bet $500 utg+1 folds, i c/r to $1350, utg calls.
river 8x i check , utg shows jj, and i muck my hand.
i think it was obvious i was on a draw.

I 3 bet him in pos 2x in pos preflop and he folded both times.i did not play many hands after that due to being card dead. Button even asked me if I only play when he come sin to the pot.

here is the hand

stacks
c/o 4k
hero 5800
button covers both
im in sb and pick up 2 black aa

folded around to the c/o whale he limps for $40
button raises to $150
I take his raise as weak iso raise, because the whale would call up to 200 range when he limps preflop.
i had a big dilema i had right dynamics to 3 bet him, scince i already did it 2 times, but my read was he had a weak hand and just wanted to play a pot hu in pos with a whale, and if I 3 bet i will blow the whale of the pot. i decided to call.
both bb, and stadler fold.

flop ($510)
10h7h5x
checked to the button he bets $325, i call, whale calls.
turn ($1485)
5x
i lead $800, whale folds button calls.
river ($2485)
4x
hero leads $1800

thoughts on all streets?

I think 3b pre is completely warranted given the dynamic you have been creating, and there is a good chance btn may light 4bet given that you think he is competent.

As played, do you think vill would call w/ AT/JJ-KK on turn and not raise? If you think vill is bad enough to float like that on turn river is an easy call. Otherwise its a trivial fold.

Sorry i worded that poorly. But yes i think c/f river is best. Our hand is pretty face up.

Looks fine. Alternatively you could have c/r flop and gotten called down pretty light.

All the reasons you gave for not 3betting preflop are the exact reasons I would have 3bet. Button is a good, thinking player. Give him a chance to level himself and make a mistake because it looks like you are attacking his isolation raise. Also playing 3 way oop in a bloated pot with AA against undefined hands is tough.

i think 3b pre is better but i dont mind flatting, i dont like your flop play- i think leading flop hoping to get it in has far and away the most value

This is good. Lol at our hand being face up. People really should stop saying that.

i think a 3bet is mandatory here given the fact that u 3 bet him twice earlier.

dear god 3bet pre. either raise or lead the flop. I actually don't mind the turn lead at all since it's so out of rhythm and you already got caught once getting aggro on the turn with a draw.

button showed up with 56off, so my read preflop was right. He tanked on the river, he told me he was deciding between shoving or calling.
What would you do if he shoved?
if he would of made it closer to $200 I would of 3 bet 100% of the time.
But with him being weak, and mega whale in the middle I thought calling preflop was best.

seems like the easiest fold ever considering he's never going to raise the turn with any nutted hand.
