Limped pot. I hit a straight. Limped pot. I hit a straight.

1/2. I have $300, villain the same approx.

I switched to the table about an hour ago. Villain a 30 year old stoner looking guy with two large stacks of more then $100. Pretty active, someone I would look to play pots with, but doesn’t seem terrible.

Hero is 30 year old looking white guy. Always told I look tight and basically am. Don’t think villain pays attention or would care.

One relevant hand between us. I have J/10 suited In B.B. He raises small blind to 10, I’m only caller (surprisingly limpers fold). Flop A/10/2. He bets 10 I call. Turn 10. He bets 15, I raise to 40, he calls. River blank he bets 25, I raise to 100, he folds.

The hand in question-J/10 off on button. 2 limps, I limp. Blinds check.

Flop Q/Q/K rainbow. Checks through.

Turn 9, completing the rainbow. Villain in mid position bets $10, I raise to $30, everyone folds, he makes it $90. Hero?

We made our hand and now don't know what to do?

What was our plan?

If he has KQ then gg.

Perhaps it would be more prudent to "shove river" if the board doesn't pair again and another Q doesn't come...

... a good reason for shoving the turn.

Call. Shove most rivers.

No reason to reraise. Not likely V will call except a full house or AQ. And V should raise AQ preflop.

Just call and shove any card but a K, Q, or 9.

Everybody is playing for stacks in a limped pot? KQ and Q9 are mubsy? Put in another 300 with $10 in the pot.

Guess I played it terrible.

raise preflop, $12-20 depending on your table.

Yes, I would be very mubsy here. Not a great spot. Have to call turn, I reserve the right to fold to a river all-in.

Check the combos, guys, unless he's limping Q7, we are drawing dead over half the time, here.

shove. get the money in now before the river kills your action or he fills up. The only hands we are really worried about are Q9 and 99. KK, QQ, or KQ is raising pre.

his range is heavily weighted to QJ and QT
