1/2 NLHE, six handed

Hero (~$1,200): mid-40s white woman. Very comfortable around the guys — makes jokes, the guys aren’t afraid to tell dirty jokes and swear around me. Tight image overall, although some of these guys know I can bluff. It’s been a while since I’ve played with them. I laid down what they thought was QQ earlier to KK (he showed) and called a huge all-in and call with nut flush, but I actually said, “If you have the straight flush, you win.” The way the hand was played, I honestly thought this guy could have 6d7d, but I had never played with him before.

Villain ($800): Late 20s / early 30s white guy who runs the game. Decent player, but most of these guys are way too loose and bluff too often, including him. He is a dealer and pretty good player for this bunch. He knows my play and probably thinks I’m on the tight side. Is in for $1,600 — bought back in after the hand above where he had K-high flush and the other guy (who went all in) had a set. He was furious at the other guy because he had lost everything else to him and now this, so he was a bit tilty. (I won ~$350 off him in that hand and $450 off the other guy.)

The hand:
One limp, V raises to $10 (normal raise at this table anywhere from $7 to $20 — you just never know), crazy shortstacker calls, button folds. Hero in SB makes it $40 w/KK. Folds to V who calls, crazy player calls (he will call with ATC).

Pot ~$120

Flop: 33Jss

Hero bets $100 (in hindsight I realize this is way too big, but for some reason I thought the pot was bigger)

V smooth calls (alarm bells go off, but he could have AJ, spades, any PP, maybe QQ, maybe floating, but I doubt it. I don’t put him on AA or a 3, but it’s possible). Crazy player folds.

Pot ~320

Turn: 3

Hero? Can I check? If so, is it to induce? Is this always a bet? Bet/call, bet/fold?

Flop is too big as you know.
Generally $80 - $85 here is going to be good.

Turn is a pretty good card as the number of 3X hands in his range is now down by half. I'd bet smaller with the plan to bet/call.

The 3 means that he can now overplay JX as he isn't worried about his kicker. It also means that we 100% want to get a flush draw to call here. So I'd bet $155 here.

What else would a check be for? You seem like extremely scared money this deep.

Unless you are fairly sure a check will induce a bet/call, I'd lead for a couple of reasons:
1) JX is likely not folding to a bet;
2) Checking lets him set the price.

$190.

Nice Brag

Can't see anything but betting here and making it fairly large .... No plans of folding.
