1/2 NL

Villain (roughly $200): African-American woman in her 50's, maybe 60's. Not much of a read as she is a new player.

Hero ($250): Mid-30's w/ sunglasses. Only shown down winning hands thus far.

UTG limps. I'm next to act and raise to 13 w/ KK. Next guy calls, Villain calls in LP, limper calls.

Flop ($49): T97.

Limper chks, I bet 38, next guy folds, Villain calls, limper folds.

Turn ($125): 3.

What do you do here? I have no read on V. She has $150 behind. I cover.

With the Kc I'm more inclined to check to her and evaluate as we are ok if this checks through and brings another club.

Just shove turn. We get called with worse a lot. Very unlikely she played a set/straight slow on this wet board. If she has the naked Ac, (like AcTx), a free card would be bad. If she made a non-nut flush we still have outs.

I'm betting a little less on the flop. I'm not looking to chase out FD, just not going to give them odds to call. Given it is an older woman, it is a check on the turn. There is little to evaluate. Readless, she's never bluffing enough to call. Nor is she calling the flop with a back door FD.

Preflop probably isn't big enough. Go $15/$16 here with a limper in front. Flop is too big on a stinking wet board where your never getting everybody to fold.

As played, check and hope she checks or bets small. You are in cheap showdown mode now, you want to get to river and see who has the best hand without paying much. If she bets big just give up.

Check back turn. It's hard to get call by worse three streets and if she check shoves you're crushed but have to fold and give up your equity. I'd fold to a big bet on river. If you didn't have Kc, I'd bet fold $50 or so on turn.

Shove turn and hope she doesn't snap call. Can't see nmyself folding at any point and turn shove looks more like a bluff, might get looked up light. If she doesn't have a club she's probably not putting another dollar in anyway.

call and hope she doesnt pile it in on the river
