Hi everyone,

$5 OTB. Loose Passive table with a few regs. Hero covers table. 4 callers. I make it $35 with KJo (HJ). CO 3! to $100. CO only has $110 back. Folds to me. I fold after a little thought.

Little info on the CO. She’s a solid winning player who’s range is probably A10+, 99s+ considering how wide I am here. I’ve been running the table over for about an hour.

Thoughts on the initial $35 isolation raise? What does your range look like here? My image is solid and the players tend to play their hands straight up vs me. What are you flatting here?

It’s $5 OTB. No blinds. (This is in Texas, not sure how common this is elsewhere). Average stack around $300-350 or 60-70 bigs. CO was unusually short since she hasn’t topped off after losing a few pots

With loose passive short stacks, raising KJo vs 4 limpers can get you into an unfavorable (SPR) spot post. Just fold pre. You are also likely to find many of these players limping with better hands.

The $35 is not an "isolation raise". An isolation raise would have mentioned the player that you're targeting and why you chose them. As played, you're just punishing the limpers - and that's OK - I just wanted to see your terminology be correct.

Hand is definitely a fold, it takes a lot for a player like that to 3-bet, no doubt she had you dominated.
