2/5 NL w/ a 10 straddle, villain has 275 and i cover

villain limps UTG+2, 2 MP limpers, button limps, i raise to 90, folds to villain who calls. MP limpers and button fold

flop:
Q64cc

i'm never folding here. there's just a pot sized bet behind. what gets more value? bet or c/c?

i don't have a lot of reads on villain. he's been at the table for an hour or so and hasn't shown down. hasn't been in very many pots. mostly calling pre and folding post.

Reads on villian other than the fact he's willing to call off a third of his stack PF?

With no read the only hand in Vs range I'm worried about is AQ. If your not folding check or bet small to induce the bluff.

The guy just limp called $90 he is total clownshoes, bet the flop watch him talk himself into felting 88 or some junk.

The raise to $90 is a little bit off in my opinion.

b/c i'm sitting much deeper than villain. it became 275 effective when everyone else folded

Just shove. I think he calls if he hits any piece of that board, or has any PP. he'll tell himself "He has AK!" and call, but he might not shove any piece if you check. Factor in the added protection for when he has an over card Kx or Ax, and it's just the easiest play.

In a heads-up situation I wouldn't fear the Queen and as long as you don't think of folding then of course the best action is to lead. Don't check and call. Lead!

I refer to my Rule #1 for LLSNL: anonymous villains are far more likely to make a bad call than a bad bet.

I like this rule, I have to try to remember it. What's your Rule #2?

If you're never folding, I'd bet small. We have 3 streets to get it all in with a SPR of 1.
A small bet (~90 or less) can spas people out and get a call/shove where they might fold to normal bet.

But of course if you're positive villain will bet when he's checked to then check-call.
