i jsut won a 15k pot at 10/25 when i bluff shoved the river with A4 on A45J5 against AQ he called me down and mucked his card after he flashed thinking i have higher two pair lolllllllll gotta love the live donks

OMG I had to leave the table because I was about to crack up in front of everyone after some guy straddled for 20, EP limps, MP raises to 130, one caller, EP calls and says "Pot odds!" I got the picture of the kid in glasses giving the fist and almost lost it.

Later someone sat down, was UTG, posted, dealer asked if he wanted to straddle instead, player says, "no way. Straddling is like lighting money on fire." Oh BTW, he straddled the next time around. LOL liveaments.

If I ever play live cash again I'm going to make signs out of these Memes and just hold them up at the table when someone does one of these things.

I can't even read a strat thread about a live hand without finding at least one meme that perfectly describes the situation.

this is fun.

wsop 1500 event last summer. a guy gets it all in with a flush draw against a set on the flop. he is about 40 years old. we are not even in the money yet (still day 1). he stands up and is watching the dealers hands so closely. i am already somewhat annoyed with how theatrical his facial expressions are right now. it is obcious that this pot is way too important to him.

he watches in anticipation, and i am watching him because i know that it will give me sick pleasure to see the look of disgust on his face when he doesnt suck out. turn is blank. he twitches his face, and mouths out the f-word without making any noise. then his eyes got even wider as the dealer was seconds away from revealing the river card. the river card brings him a flush.

he claps his hands together with great force, producing a very loud sound. simultaneously he screams "YES!!!!" and leaps into the air in a spinning motion. he continues to scream yes whilst jumping up in the air and pumping his hands up and down. at this point he has jumped a bit away from the table and is between two other tables. so he is about 6 meters away or so.

i was watching him with sick pleasure. not because he had sucked out, but because he had not. he had not realized that the river had paired the board, thus giving his opponent a full house. i said nothing because i wanted to let this go on. the longer it went on the more stupid he would look afterwords. unfortunately some young internet kid yelled to him the truth, and he stopped to come back to the table to examine the board himself. when he saw the truth he yelled the f-word, grabbed his bag, and left the poker room never to be seen again.


i took sick pleasure in his defeat because it always annoys me when people celebrate that much after winning a pot from someone else. it is such a douchy thing to do imo(especially if it is suckout). when you win a pot you should act like you have done so before. i would never start drama with someone over this, but is pretty classless iyam.

anyways, i thought i would share that story here in the hopes that it would give some ppl sick pleasure like it gave me watching it irl.
