Say you are paying someone 5% vig for their live cash, and you are giving them online money. Which is correct?
A. $10,500 (online) for $10,000 (cash)
B. $10,000 (online) for $9,500 (cash)
I know the difference is pretty insignificant, but I've heard both sides from people who do large transactions and are smart people. Is there no standard?
I think I've actually done both

the answer should be A tho: 5% vig means 5% being paid on the 10k cash, so 10.5k online, whereas in option B, the vig is 500 bucks on 9500 cash, which is actually 5.263% or whatever...
for B to be correct, it should be 9975 online for 9500 cash @ 5%

have 100k cash in Tampa, FL. Want FTP+6%. Min 5k, I have many successful large trades.
answer is clearly A, don't see how ppl could think otherwise. in B the cash guy is charging more than 5% and the online guy isn't getting the amount which he probably wanted.
