How to work my way up here as a micro player? How to work my way up here as a micro player?

I have a few questions about how to get better at poker!

My goal currently is to get better as fast as possible. Making money isn't important at the moment, but I do want to work my way up to becoming a professional player!

1) Do you guys multi-table at medium-high stakes? I'm guessing you don't?

2) Should I multi-table micro stakes to get better or should I play one or two (or more?) tables and really focus on the play there?
I'm mostly wondering what offers the best learning curve. Playing a lot of hands on multiple tables and reviewing them, or really focusing on the fewer hands played at one table.

3) Would beating the high-stakes be more profitable than grinding (multi-tabling) the lower stakes? Of course it depends on how hard you beat the games, but some thoughts on this would be nice!

This forum focuses almost exclusively on live play, so the answers you get probably won't be what you're looking for. Are you thinking of online play as a way to prepare yourself for mid-high stakes live games, or do you plan to stay with online poker only? Some online players seem to have trouble making the transition to a social setting and paying attention to their opponents.

1.) As a FR online pro you can either play on PS with very low winrates or you play smaller sites on very low stakes (~NL200). In both cases you need to play a lot of hands to make it worthwhile. I play max 12 tables, most people probably play more.

2.) Do not play lots of tables if you are learning. Play fewer than most people will recommend or brag about. When you start out play 1 table and expand very slowly if you feel like there is absolutely nothing relevant you would miss by adding a table. Only worry about massive multi tabling if you feel like you completely crush a limit (be honest to yourself) but dont have the money to move up or if the earnings are very relevant to you.

3.) see 1.)
