How much do you like AA here? How much do you like AA here?

Playing 2/5 @ Bellagio. Sit down with about $400 and have only played an orbit or two, taken down a few blinds but that's it. New guy sits down at seat 3, I am at seat 8. It's his second hand at this table so I gots no read.

He raises to $20 UTG+1, folds to me and I reraise to $60. Villain calls so there's $127 in pot. I have about $350 behind here and V started with $500 so he's got $440.

Flop comes K J 9

Villain open shoves all in. Thoughts?

In addition, guy is early to mid 40's, white, no hoodie, no shades. Looks like he was part of the computer convention in town but who knows. I tank for a long time on this one and was suprised no one called clock on me. After a minute or so he started saying stuff like "it's okay if you want to double me up." I finally said, "wow I find it hard to believe you played Q 10 like this." to which he says "I definitely don't have Q 10 but I got there." I say "doesn't only Q 10 "get there" at this point???" He says "well idk, but I could use a double up." Don't know if this helps at all but was some of the banter while I was trying to get a read.

go play, and dont come back until you can read souls

obviously having a draw

what got there if not q 10. If he flops a set he could push to chase Away draw

That's possible he "got there " with a set and is now protecting against draws, otherwise I assume you are way ahead.

Okay, super soul reader at 2/5. It was his second hand at the table. Please teach me, and after you teach me that, please teach me how to walk on water and raise the dead too. Or you can continue to be a douche canoe

I think we can rule out KK since he didn't 3 bet. 99 and JJ are possible, as well as KJ suited perhaps. Also AK is a very real possibility, as is a heart draw. So the question is, are you calling or folding with only $60 in?

Yeah, I was thinking AK as one hand that 'got there' that we're ahead of. Another would be AJhh (if hero doesn't have the Ah). The remaining hands that 'got there,' if we believe villain, we're either crushed by (sets, straight), or looking to counterfeit (KJ). With no read, I'm folding here (but I'm fairly conservative...some might say 'nitty'!) As they say, pocket aces often either win a small pot, or lose a big pot.

I call here but I don't expect to be way ahead very often
