just bc V will call opens doesn't mean he's going to shove on opens. You need more info to make a proper decision here. He can be doing this T/X, 77, 33, maybe JJ-QQ? In that case most of the range beats you. Calling flop here means you have to be willing to call ship on turn most of the time. I'd just fold and wait for a better spot.

What stakes is this game?

Quote:

What does this mean?

Quote:
will call opens
But how does he play after calling? Is he generally passive? Have you seen him play aggro before? If so, what did he show down? If not, how long have you sat with him without seeing aggression?

Is V one of the limp/callers? What positions are you in? Did he check-raise, or just raise? (note: he didn't re-raise, because he wasn't facing a raise, only a bet.)

In any case, though the answers to these questions will help narrow things down, you are almost always beat facing a raise on a board this dry. Except in the fishiest games, and/or the most gambooly V's, no-one is raising on a board that dry without beating TPTK.

Sorry for vague details

It's a 1/2 100 to 300 cap
The old man doesn't open only calls

Yes, but how does he play post flop?

I'd fold if V is capable of limp/calling with JJ+. Otherwise, I'd shove. I doubt V would raise on the flop if he hit a set.

Well you potted the flop and got raised anyway so I'm just folding. Would expect to see an overpair most often. Bet smaller on flop to get called wider.

PF: seems ok. how many players will usually call when there are two limpers and a raise to 15? and how many are you hoping to see a flop with?

Flop: I would bet a little smaller, around 25. Fold to this raise. You are most likely beat. Expect V to have called with JJ/QQ a good portion of the time when the flop action is like this.
