me-$600
co-$200
villain(sb)-350 or so
villain's a good(maybe average) young college kid, like myself. Is capable of bluffing in good spots, such as this

i have KJo on the btn

co raises to 8, i 3 bet to 30, sb calls, co calls

Flop 8 9 2 r

chkd to me, i cbet 40, sb makes it 100 (i think this is such an obvious spot for a bluff from him), co folds(i think he folded something decent), I shove (I think once i shove he has to put me on an overpair and fold)

Spoiler:
he shows AJ and folds, I show him my KJ and he claims he wouldve called with a pair of 2s(i think hes fos)

Apparently this was a good spot to re-bluff. Good one.

Well yea if we're being results oriented this was a great spot, but my question is more about whether or not this in general is a good spot to rebluff shove. Would it be better if i had AK?

I played a hand last night where I raised utg with AQ and the flop came 665. Checked to the button who bet $60 leaving him $60 behind. I folded and he showed A2. Obv this would have been a "good spot to bluff", but more often than not we are beat here. Your bluff has to work more than 50% of the time for it to be profitable. Against the type of villain you described I dont think this is the case. Nice play, but dont make a habit of it.

If you bet say $75 on flop, he will just fold and won't try to bluff FTW.
