Found myself in situation where I have 1 great session +(300-400bb) than 2 or 3 cold sessions where Iam just sitting mucking every hand and if I have something playable it’s always 2 or 3rd best hand and Iam loosing pots, I was trying just to grind it trough, those sessions usually takes 8-12 hours but in the end of the day Iam in deep hole. Trying to see how you guys dealing with this days, grinding trough or just taking break till tomorrow, Iam talking about days when nothing goes your way. Trying to play full time but looks like Iam doing something wrong, because those sessions brings me in the hole. Maybe I should wrap it and come back next day after 3-5hours of play if Iam running super cold. What advise can you give, thanks.

If I'm ever running unusually cold, I simply stop playing until I feel better, this is usually a few days to a week. Time lets you forget the nonsense you've had to bear through.

As for tips on dealing with being card dead, I'd try socializing more.

I try to leave if I am feeling tilted. But if I am still playing well and not chasing. Then I grind it out.

Breaks are definitely needed at times for me though.

You're probably overvaluing TP if you are repeatedly getting to showdown with the second or third best hand. Work on your game.

You can work on your mental game, work on your game...
I the advises bellow will help you.

What worked for me on this mental game leak is to face each session as just a piece of a bigger session.
If you can understand that the days are not separate runs, it shouldn’t make you feel bad.

The optimal result is to don’t let card dead streaks afect your game.
It’s hard to reach, though, so if they are afecting your game and you have no plan to work that out, than the best thing is to just quit right when you notice that you are on tilt.

Taking notes of how you feel and what happened to make you feel that way also helps working it out. You can “force” yourself on each bad session to stay focus and try a little more, more and more... Someday you will just be able to maintain the logic and still be playing your A game even after a huge card dead streak.

BUT. Maybe it’s not card dead. Maybe the sessions that you win 300-400bb are good variance results and maybe your real Winrate could be negative or BE and the way to have more winning sessions is realizing that, spoting leaks and working on them.

GL. And work hard.

If it's just a matter of running cold then taking a break is irrelevant. IE you are just as likely to run cold over a 12 hour session as you are over six 2 hour sessions. If you cut your hours in a day you can fall into a trap of not putting in enough hours. The less hours you put in, the more damaging run bad will be when it happens.

That being said, this is probably more than run bad. Your mental game may be failing you in these sessions. The game dynamics may not be favorable for you for some reason. Also, when you lose pots you develop a losing image at the table and that can be tough to overcome. If you do cut your session short you will need to put more hours in another day. However, I think taking a break would be better. Just taking a 10 minute break from the table can help. Also, taking a longer break like a dinner break can allow you to put in a 2nd session in the same day. Also, if you are having no success at a table try to get a table change. A change of scenery can be good for your image and your confidence.
