Hero has been playing pretty tag
Villain in this hand is a lag calling station.

A few limpers to the villain who is in the low jack who raises to $20 (covers the table). He has raised pretty often in late position to $20 so his range in this spot is pretty wide.
The button calls.
Hero has KJ and calls ($800 behind)

Flop J9J ($62 pot)

Hero checks.
Villain bets $35
Button folds.
Hero raises to $100
Villain reraises to $235
Hero?

What's a "lag calling station?"

What is V's stack?

V covers... So $800 effective.

Ahh, missed that. First question still applies.

If he's a LAG, he has a lot of combo-draws and overpairs in his range. If he's a calling station and is raising on this board, he has at least trips.

Probably just calling his 3bet on the flop.... But you dont give us any good info so maybe raising is better, but in general I think calling is ok... Just depends on he plays his big pocket pairs and/or big draws.

I put him on an over pair or combo draw

What other info would be helpful?

If so, then what's the question? You are behind the big combo draws, but not so much that calling is wrong, and you are way ahead of the overpairs. Since there are more overpairs than the 2 combo draws you are afraid of (even if you add the 3 AJ combos that are left, and the 3 combos of J9), shove if you think he will call with an overpair, or call if you think he will fold an overpair.

Neither of you can make a mistake at this point if he had QT, or T8 (unlikely with PFR? I dunno), so I wouldn't worry about this scenario.

Seeing as nothing has us drawing dead and there's lots of big draws that he can have I'm ok either jamming flop or donking all nonclub/king turns. Without a very good read I don't think there's a way to find a hero fold at this stack size.
