A couple days ago I flopped top set on an A62 board against 77. Flop went check/check. Turn 7. River A.

We got it all in on the river. I believe that was Max Money.

These threads are all so weird, someone can pot a monotone flop and NOBODY believes they could possibly have a flush. Everyone would be yelling to get stacks in. Now everyone fears a flush when that's a very small part of anyone's range.

Pre flop is too small - make it $50 like someone else said.

You want to bet because too many cards will kill your action and since the table is loose and probably sticky we want them to pay for the turn card. It is very unlikely the turn card will help them any ways unless it's an A or they some how turn a set. While people may not have much they could still be drawing and you want to charge them to do that.

Also someone might try and bluff raise you - rare - but i've seen it. They may be on tilt or who knows why but i've seen crazy stuff.

It happens. No one had anything. But for all that you might get one bet out of slowplaying, when they have nothing, the times you get stacks when they have something to continue with more than make up for it.
