1/2. V1 looks like a degen reg( degen dressup n talks like a degen ), mid twenties, asian, been to table <half hrs, not much read but seems like making moves. Again been to table <half hrs, so not much reads.

V2 is like 30ish white women, don't know why she is at the table, looks like a mom with young children, tightish. Hero has been to the table < hour, so not much read on V2, except that she is not that good.

Everybody has around 250-300 behind.

V2 raises to 10 from EP, i decide to call with3s5s from LP, V1 calls from two spots behind.

Flop: 2d4h6d
V2 bets 35
I almost raised, then felt she might fold. She was playing tight. And my hand is pretty deceptive here. So i decided to just call. To my surprise V1 calls also. And it makes me uneasy.

Turn : 6d
Now it makes really uneasy.
V2 checks, i check, v1 bombs 100. V1 is furious and folds.
Hero. ?

One of my leaks is, i feel too self conscious at table. So whenever it is my turn, i act too fast without thinking. If i was thinking thoroughly i would have raised on flop or bet/folded on turn.

Is raising flop (even if it folds out V2) or bet folding turn correct ?

What should i do now that i dont have much read on V1 ?

I know you don't want to hear the cliche, but fold pre. 35s plays horribly against a tighter player's range, and you aren't deep enough to play this crap. Also, you aren't really in LP if V1 can call two spots behind.

AP, raise flop. Any diamond or 4-liner will either kill your action or your hand. You got the best result you can hope for, get some value while you can. If you take it down now, you probably weren't getting more anyway.

AP, call floor. Two 6d in the deck.

Assuming the 6 was actually the heart OTF, AP, as you said, b/f turn. By checking you've put yourself in a horrible position, because V1 can be making a move here or betting a bare 6 for value. He could also have a flush or a boat. You don't really have any reads, so all you can do is guess for your stack.

Fold and punch yourself in the junk for playing that crap, and then FPS "trapping" OTF, much less checking back turn.

Hey OP, can you just space out your posts more? It's easier to read that way.

Raise flop, no need to be coy at 1/2.

My bad. Flop 2d4d6h, turn 6d. So turn completes flush and pairs board.

As played, fold turn. Raising flop on such a wet flop is going to help reduce mistakes in the long term.

I'm going to harp on preflop, because it should be harped on. What's the plan for postflop when we call with 35s when "Hero has been to the table < hour, so not much read on V2, except that she is not that good"? Is it for implied odds hoping she'll stack off with overpairs when we flop gin? Is it because we're planning to float cbets and steal the pot on the turn? Are we going to backraise 4b shove when someone squeezes? (That would be fantastic, please tell me that was the plan!) Seriously though, it seems like we're simply lighting money on fire because we don't like folding.

Mrs. S objects strongly to that description
