Villain is older guy, straightforward. Hero has $200. Villain

Villain raises to $15. Hero calls with K Q

Flop is Q 3 5 .

Villain bets $20, I raise to $70. Villain calls.

Turn is 8, 4 to a flush. Check, check.

River, x.... Villain bets $120 putting me all in.

I have a K high flush, do I call or fold?

Older guys, never tend to put $120 into a pot, especially when there is 4 to a flush on the board, without the absolute nuts.

For me, its a snap fold.

Especially as u have the Kc, how likely is it, hes putting in his remaining stack, with at best, the 3rd nuts ?

Trivial fold.

Against a straight forward older guy, I'd fold here. Most of the OMCish player pool won't donk lead with their made hands until the river, as they expect the aggressor to keep betting. Once you x/back turn, he's putting in a bet for sheer value OTR. With you holding the Kc, you're hoping he's doing this with just the Qc if you make the call. I fold here without giving it too much thought. If he made this bet with anything other than the Ac then I'd rethink my read of him being a straightforward player, as you could definitely have the Ac/Kc in your range here.

Positions? My first reaction is fold pre. KQo is typically a hot RIO mess against a straightforward old guy's opening range.

If you're saying he's straightforward, he has Ac here almost always. There are plenty of AA/AK/AQ combos with Ac, and not a whole lot else that makes any sense unless your reads are way off.

Well, that's why I raised on the flop. He's not calling a $50 raise without something, either a draw to the nuts or a super strong hand. I felt if he had a set of QQ or something, he would just re-jam in case a 4th club came.

Spoiler:
So I got stubborn and called. Of course he has the A and Jx. Most people were right, he's not bluffing in that spot, he's value towning. Just made it hard for me to fold with the 2nd nuts.

You are at a rendezvous with Destiny. The farther backward you look, the farther forward you are likely to see. The future is only the past again, entered through another gate.

What hands does V raise pre with, b/c flop, and shove river that don't have Ac in it? Probably none.
