1/3 NLHE, 9 handed.

V1 - BB, 1200$. Donks his vulnerable made hands. Calls too wide pre. Plays fairly passive until he has a vulnerable hand at which point he overplays it. Traps with invulnerable monsters.

V2 - UTG+2, 1000$. Only played with him once before. Has kind of a weird style. I would classify him as tight aggressive but with a tendency to punt. I try not to get involved too much with him and see him as a slightly winning player. Small sample size though. He likes to raise and bluff.

V3 - UTG+3/MP, 470$. Never seen him before. Seems solid. Tight pre and a bit weak-tight post. Has been losing and keeps topping up. VPIPing around 15% in the past 2 hours I've seen him. MAWG.

V4 - CO, 400$. Loose passive beginner that bleeds down to 100ish before ripping it in and triples up then bleeds down again. Currently at the top of his recent triple up. Calls his entire range pre. Has called AA, QQ (twice) and some other premium stuff and then just rams for 2x pot on a 8-3-2 for instance. Got paid off when he had AQ and ripped it on a Q-6-2 into a guy that had KQo and opened and didn't give him credit.

Hero - SB, Covers. Not sure of image. Have been a bit card dead and playing a bit tight. Ran up huge and should seem a little nervous to get stacks in this deep.

---

Context: V1 and Hero have been chatting all night while V1 is drinking and having fun and he tells me his favourite hand is 69. Making sex jokes about it and laughing. He has won a few pots tonight with 69. He stacked a guy with a runner-runner boat and also beat a guy's AK all-in pre for about 80$ with it. We're joking about if one of us gets it we'll try to take the other guy's money. (we're the deepest stacks at the table).

---

V2, V3 and V4 limp, Hero sees 6 9 in SB and completes, V1 checks.

Flop 5-ways (15$) - T 8 7

Hero leads 10, V1 folds (he now owes hero 20$ as per our side-bet), V2 raises to 30, V3 calls, V4 calls, Hero 3-bets to 110, V2 folds, V3 calls, V4 folds. HU.

Turn (295, 357 back) - 8

Hero x, V3 bets 160 leaving about 200 back, Hero?

I'd fold. I can't think of anything you beat anymore.

Fold pre too, but whatever, I get it. I wouldn’t fold 96 here either, in light of your conversation.

Seems like a fold. 3bet flop and he donks a board pair? From his range hes got all the combos of 77,88,78s and some of the 1010 and 108s and j9s. Not sure what hand you could possibly beat that calls the 3b on the flop then donks. But small stakes players, so maybe some A9s 98s 99 or even JJ. Still dont think its enough to continue because the rest is going in on the river most likely. And most importantly you described him as weak tight and here he is blasting off

Hmm ok. Result:
Spoiler:
Hero gets blinders on for some reason and x/r jams. V tanks and folds after several minutes. H shows BB his hand to collect his 20 bucks and V3 explodes saying he mucked J9. Whole table starts yelling.

Again, this table isn't really in my wheelhouse playing so deep. If it isn't in your wheelhouse, then think about table changing.

I'd fold preflop. To me position is really so very very very important when deep, so that's enough for me to pass on marginal hands preflop due to the extremely sucky spots we can be put in postflop due to being OOP. I don't despise completing, but I'm really looking to make nuttish hands postflop before putting in any real money.

I didn't flop the nuts so I'm not looking to play for insanely large stacks (or even large chunks of them) in a very multiway limped pot where the nuts is trivially in play. If donking I probably donk smaller (just with an eye on pot control) and I wouldn't even hate just going into check/evaluate mode either.

Facing the flop raise, even with the other callers, I probably just go into call/evaluate mode. Although we ended up with a great result, up against the shortest and likely worst stack, so looking to get the rest in on a safe turn.

Ug turn. But we're beating 98. Ug. Stoopid spot. Against a noobish player who has no idea what is going on I think I just sigh rip it at this point. Against anyone with half a brain I probably lean to check/folding.

ETA: Whoops, I got my villains mixed up. Against someone who is tight / solid / topping up / etc., I'm check/folding the turn.

ETA#2: I would have re-re-raised the flop if I were him. His fold as played is fine... but his turn bet in the first place sucks, imo. The stars really aligned for you to win this one, imo.
