First hand of the night 1/2 nl

villain-$150 (btn)
me-$200 (co) A 6

Straddled folds to me i raise to $12, villain calls, straddle calls

flop 3 5 7

straddle chks, i bet $20 (is this a bad cbet? i feel like its marginal) villain calls, straddle folds

Turn 10

i bet $50, villain shoves for around 70 ish more, i call

(i know im behind once he shove but i have to call here, correct?) should i have just checked the flop and AP just checked the turn or is my 2nd barrel standard?

Meh standard

I'd so the same thing, maybe not fire another barrel OTT, but now that were here already, we have to call.

Flop bet is fine, OTT I think I slow down and hope they bet something I can call to see the river cheap.

Against a set going to the river your only getting there 22% of the time. You're 34% VS JJ/QQ/kk. And OBV a little worse vs AA. Granted sets are more likely as he did not re-raise PreFlop. That also takes away your 5c and 7c. OBV after you threw 50 out there you can't fold to his shove. But I think in the long run, especially with the 50 bet OTT this is -EV.

12 outs better than 4:1 to call. Get it in. Checking turn is best imo.
