Not ready to vote yet, but I should point out that Slowplaying is not the only COTM from 2013. There was also one on overbetting that is not linked in the official collection.

Great news. I'll search for it and add it to the official collection. I'm not ready to vote yet either. Finding and Plugging Leaks is taking a lot of careful reading.

ETA: Really glad that you mentioned that. I found not one, not two, but three COTMs that were not in the archives, all from 2012-13. Fixed now.

Whew, Plugging Leaks was long, and a difficult read as so many of the posts were thoughtful. Slowplaying was a great OP, but a rather limited concept and not much discussion thereafter that expanded on it. I was glad to not that someone else also picked up that the OP was almost as much about the importance of playing in position as it was about being very selective about when to slowplay.

This just lingering because it's a long read, or have folks not yet noticed it? I hate to zoltan my own thread, but I will.

I gotta admit I was never the biggest fan of Slowplaying but didn't want to vote until I re-read the other one. It is about as good as I remembered.

So I know I'll likely be in the minority but I think I'm gonna go with slow playing. Not because plugging leaks wasn't great but because I think slow playing is more readily beneficial to the average lurker here. The general concept of leak finding is a bigger deal but it requires more work and fewer average players are willing to actually do what the thread suggests.

The slow playing article is something they can concretely grasp and it's the source of endless threads and lost value from the general player population. I think if a bad player read both articles and then went out and played right after, they'd be more likely to gain value from the slow playing COTM. So, check one for slow playing.

Very low participation in this one. IDK if this is because the Leaks thread is so long, making it tough to read through and form an opinion, or if y'all are just tired of this "tournament."

Thoughts? If there's not interest, I'll stop putting them together.
