Hey guys, this is my first post. I was wondering if any one had any input on how this hand was played? This was at Commerce Casino - 100nl game. Blinds are $2/$3.

I'm in the small blind. Here's the action:

UTG+1 raises to $10.
3 other players call.
I'm in the SB with 9-10 offsuit and call.

Flop: Q,J,8 rainbow

I check.
UTG+1 bets $30.
UTG+2 calls. And the other 2 players fold.
I raise it to $120.
UTG+1 folds.
UTG+2 starts getting angry and spews a bunch of BS then decides to call.

Turn: K

I go all-in for about $400.
UTG+2 calls.

River: 2 (no possible flush on board)

I turn over my 9-10 then this guy starts giving a speech about how he earlier said that he was going to take all my money in one hand and blah blah blah. (He was tilting after I beat him in a few hands). I knew I was in trouble - did this guy seriously call with a gutshot and hit it?!? He turns over A-10 offsuit and wins. So, what do you guys think? Did I play it wrong in anyway?

On a side note, regulars might know this guy....he notorious for getting on everyone's nerve. 50/60-something-year-old guy with a mustache and an accent (middle eastern maybe, I'm not sure). Does dirty tricks like telling a player he will check all the way down and when the player turns his cards over, the guys bets.

Also, when posting hands please include your reads on the players and they way they are playing.

When playing against unknowns, I will always raise this flop. But my sizing tends to be abit larger. I would goto about 160-175.

Also I dont really like the open shove of 400 into a ~300$ pot. I will bet like 125-150 here and glady commit if villian raises or just get it in on the river.

It sucks that villian hit his gutter on you.

he has a double gutshot. And no there's nothing you could have done. Fold pre as well with only 133 bbs. post in bbv.

fold pre because of position. 9-10 already plays like dog dookie. Now put it OOP and its elephant dung. Also, I would of led the flop. Your c/r screams I have a monster.
