1/3 NLHE, table is playing loose passive mostly.

Hero - Has been run over by the deck all day and is down a few BIs but thinks his game isn't affected (it probably is and this hand might highlight that, this would later become part of a 1600$ downswing at 1/3$ 100-500$ BI that occurred in 2.5 hours of playing so not sure if that's typical but would like to get thoughts on statistical significance of that), so could be tilting but not sure. UTG, 400$.

V1 - Very passive and sticky losing player. Nice guy but just calls way too wide and chases all draws, plays his whole range for x/c line until he wakes up with a monster at which point he bets 3x pot. He was just on tilt and opened straight over BB for AI 150$ and doubled up and so may be less tilted now. BB, 300$.

V2 - Asian woman I've never seen before, seems incompetent but who knows, this is my third or fourth hand she's been at the table for. BTN, 400$.

V1 x, Hero decides a check is okay, his hand seems fairly invulnerable even though it is 3-ways, checks through.

Turn 30 - J

V1 x, Hero bets 25, V2 calls, V1 calls.

River 105 - Q

V1 leads 100, Hero calls hating life (?), V2 jams for ~350 into 305, V1 tank folds, Hero?

Surely, this is an easy fold. I'm betting flop. With two face cards, board is never dry.

chaecking flop v a passive sticky player seems sub optimal to me

passive sticky player suddenly comes alive and bets pot on a 1 liner may indicate strength.

Easy bet flop. Easy fold OTR.

With a sticky passive villain and seemingly incompetent flop seems like a mandatory bet.

Losing an entire street of value for unnecessary deception seems bad here.

River seems like an easy fold.

As far as the downswing, would have to see the hands to determine if just run bad. Based on this and other posts, its extremely likely any downswings are significantly increased due to major leaks.

I don't hate the flop check. I'm not sure even the most loose passive players are calling anything other than a miniscule bet with anything less than the case Ace here. AA on Axx is rarely going to make you much money. Could go tiny to deny equity to exactly what happened, or could go big targetting Ax, or check, I'm not sure there's much in it

Runout is just horrendous obviously, the rest of the hand is played fine, fold to the shove.
