Villain is a maniac recreational player with a very bad table image.
White tourist in his mid 20's who's drinking.

He has been very aggressive both pre and postflop.
Snapcalled my 3bet to £35 with K9o versus me, floats flop and pot shove turn and shows the bluff on Q623.
He has kept up his aggression, but all hands has been non showdown.
I assume he showed his bluff with the attention of betting for value from now on.

On to the hand.
1-2
He raises to £11 from HJ and we are £140 effective.
I flat A9cc on the button and BB(loose passive abc) comes along.

£34 JcJs9s

Checked to me and I bet £17
BB folds and the maniac raises to £50
?

Bottom pair generally isn't how we stack a maniac.

If you call, you'll have £80 left and a £130 pot on the table. If you're comfortable based on your reads getting it in with A9cc here, go for it, if not just fold.

Pre, I'd either fold this (kinda nitty, I know) or 3!

Hard to make a hand on that board, either miles ahead or miles behind, seems like a straight forward check back in position with backdoor clubs to me.

As played, don't really like a fold, don't really like call, don't want to jam either...but like jam and fold better than just a flat, flatting is basically committing anyways.

Don't bet/fold hands that have a decent chance of winning against maniacs, bet/call or check them. Bet/fold hands that have very low equity or possibly don't bet/fold anything if he's very sticky.

I'd 3-bet/call pre, check the flop and call down now.

Normally I'd check A9 here, but there is no doubt in my mind that there is value to be had by betting against a guy who floats K9o on Q62r.

I ended up calling the raise.
Still a bit left to play for, and I can easily fold turn on a spade, ten, queen or king.
Turn was a blank and gave me the backdoor flushdraw, so I called his shove.
I was up aganinst KJo.

I'm curious though how often players shows up with trips, draws or air after taking this line on the flop, and how often a guy bluffs here with his image.
