I was playing 2,00eu/5,00eu live cash game (without Bankroll management) and my started buy in was 450eu. Full ring table (10 players). After 5 hours of playing my stack was 4.8k eu. In UTG+2 i picked up pocket nines (9x9x). UTG limps and UTG+1 folded and I made an isolate raise up to 26eu,everyone folded, CO calls, blinds folded and the limper too. The FLOP was 923x, I made a classic c-bet up to 27eu, the CO asked me ''how much you're playing kid'' and shoved 4.9k. My opponent was drunk and it's the classic guy who makes money through gambling and gets every draw.
What should I do?? After one minute showed AJ before my action.

I'll try not to troll you but this is a ridiculous question.

You're 75% to win this pot. To make the math easy, I'm going to assume you had 5,000 euro and ignore the money already in the pot, which means if you call this bet 75% of the time you have 10,000 euro and 25% of the time you have none. So, EV of calling is 7,500 and you make 2500 euro on average every time you call. Basically, do you want to pay 5000 euro for a 75% change of getting 10,000 euro? If your answer is no, get up and stop playing poker (probably forever).

Fold, AINEC.

Here's why. You already started out with too much of your bankroll on the table reading between the lines. That was mistake #1. You've now increased it by 10 fold. To even ask this question means that you can't afford a loss, no matter what your odds are. You should have left the table a long time ago. Not doing so was mistake #2. So while you've made two mistakes, you shouldn't compound it by taking any risk with this windfall. So fold, and immediately get up from the table and leave. Stop playing 2/5 and go back to playing lower stakes until you don't feel the need to ask this question again.

Yes, I understand EV. But there's more to poker than EV.

Unless you want to see 4s 5s run out I suggest you fold. I mean how can it NOT happen that way?

Fold since he always hits. Then get up from the table and remember to not play people who are magically exempt from probability.

I am far more interested in how you wound up with 4.8k chips in front of you than this hand. The smart thing to do is clearly to fold and leave.

This gave me a much needed laugh.

Sick run, I hope you called and won. Read up on the BR Management thread and try to play at your level.

You only bought in for $450, and have the chance to win $10,000 and hold the nuts in your hand, I get the "playing over your bankroll" and understand the grossness you'd probably feel if you lost, I could see if you had anything other than the nuts, but you have the nuts, and outs even if he does his his flush draw, unless that $4,900 is your rent money for the next 6 months, you have to call...

thanks for your answer venice. you're in my mind. finally after he showed me the AJ I i folded after 30sec and i thought ''i don't want to gamble with the drunk malaka,i don't have the balls'', immediately i woke up and took the rest 4750 and went home..
maybe some guys think that's easy call but i can't describe my feelings that moment.. it's weird to 10x your bi and take a risk even if it's 75-25..

This. Do you owe some drug lord 5k or something? If not just call and ask to run it many times. You can work at McDonalds and make 450 easily.
