Effective stacks $1200

Just sat down.

PRE-FLOP
MP (Villain) opens to $20.
Folds to Hero.

Villain's range is:

Hero has A 3 and 3-bets to $80.
MP (Villain) calls.

FLOP ($165) K Q 9

Villain's range is now:

I think it's possible both my pre-flop and flop ranges are a bit too loose. Also, I'd discount combos of AA and KK down to ~1 each.

SB (Hero) bets $60.
MP (Villain) calls.

TURN ($285) K Q 9 ... 9

Villain's call eliminates many pocket pairs, sets, and straights. Maaaaaaybe a few remain... but this is a bad spot for slowplaying.

Hero ?

More hands than AA/KK should be 4-bet. Not everybody has bluffs but at least AK and other premium pairs should be discounted. Villain should be opening more suited stuff and less offsuit stuff.

I'd just check/fold flop and turn. You have enough hands that actually have some equity to be bluffing with. This isn't a range bet when a lot of villain's range connects with the board well. I'd go bigger on the flop when betting, like full pot. With this SPR a small bet won't get the money in by the river without future overbets or raises. Plus it's just a spot you already want to be more polar, and a lot of villain's hands have very easy, profitable continues to a small bet.

It's fine to have some suited wheel aces, but for the most part I'd be more linear preflop.

Is this 6-7 handed?

I'd be more inclined to 3B pre if there was a caller in between, otherwise mostly folding, BB-dependent.

That said, on this flop texture I think large sizing, > PSB, is in order since we have both a nut and range advantage. If called, done with the hand.

As played, X/F.

I check flop, his range smashes this board

I agree that the opening ranges for an unknown might be too loose, after 3bet they seem okay given he'll be IP. With the board, he's got a 70% continuing range so any bet is pretty much lit on fire with our 11% equity.
