NL 1-2, table si 6 handed. My image is TAG to nit. I have been carddead for a while, been in showdown only couple times and in small pots. I have made around 300 from initial 200, mainly without showdown in two hands - have not showed though both times on me raising again on the turn.
On my right I have good TAG, on his right is home player who "works" there and starts tables - but I do not find him that good, he is about average. On my left are two weak-passive guys and on the BTN is solid old school TAG who likes to mix it up with connectors and so on.
Hero on UTG with As2s raises to 7 which is standard here (7-9). Weak passive on my left calls (200e), oldschool TAG calls on the BTN (500), home player calls on the SB (160). Four to the flop with a pot of 29e.
Flop is 5c4c3h. SB thinks for 15 seconds and bets 16. I elect to raise 50 and everybody folds.
Should I just call and let the other players try to draw? Is the raise ok here?

fold pre
two clubs on the board and 3 running cards so raise is good

I like the raise. Get money in now, not a great board to slow play.
With two passives and a solid opponent otb, A2s isn't going to generate much profit UTG since you are going to have to steal a lot post flop for it to be profitable.

Played perfect post flop. 6 handed I don't mind raising this UTG if the table has been tight, but my standard is to fold this preflop.

Too many bad cards on the turn to not raise here.
Preflop is a little questionale, but its not horrible.
A2 utg is tough to get a lot of value from though

grunch: i think you played it fine. maybe lower the raise by 10 (but now i'm just nit-picking). there very well could be a flush draw out there you want to not give odds too but more importantly, you want to pot build early while people are "non-believers". you're c-betting a low board. it's not unlikely an over pair or any 2 overs will call you to reevaluate on the turn. i'm rarely a fan of slow playing so i think you played this fine. sometimes they'll all fold, sometimes they'll pay you off. in the long run i think you'll make more money by getting bigger pots some of the time than smaller pots more often.
